If you are looking to recover from physical injuries, to find more calm and stillness within to alleviate tension, anxiety or depression – this will be a class for you. We’ll equip you with the tools of yoga (physical, breathing, meditation as well as somatic movement) for mental, emotional and physical healing.
This first 2023 workshop will help you understand your existing breathing patterns and discover new ways to improve your breathing for alleviation of stress, anxiety, panic attacks, and asthma. The event is based on the Oxygen advantage and Buteyko breathwork schools, scientifically proven since 1970th to improve many health conditions. It is guided by the Senior yoga teacher and Teachers’ trainer, Irina Pashkevich Bourdier.
Ashtanga Yoga Beginners Course is for new to yoga, new to us, and yoga returners. During six weeks of the course or ~20 hours of tuition from the Senior yoga teacher you’ll be introduced to the foundations of yoga: breathing, Ashtanga vinyasa yoga postural flow, meditation, and relaxation. You will also learn to integrate these practices into your daily life, gaining more wellbeing, energy, and health as well as ability to practise independently. Yogic practices will help you discover your self-healing faculty, bringing more balance, joy, and meaning in to your daily life.
In this workshop we’ll explore the basic anatomy and physiology of the sacroiliac joints (SIJ). With the newly acquired understanding, we’ll learn therapeutic practices from somatics and yoga to heal and further maintain the stability and health of your SIJ.
Have you ever wondered how moving your body into predefined shapes (yoga asanas or postures) impacts not only your physical health, but also your mental health? – In this workshop you will learn, what is happening to you on a deeper, neurological level. Using his 20 years of experience, one our favourite super experienced yoga teachers from Lime House Yoga Cornwall JOCK ORTON will teach you how to practise yoga in a way, that is most suited to you, giving you practical ways to improve your yoga practice, sharing the latest western scientific research combined with ancient yogic science.
Come and join us for a fun filled workshop exploring the world of yogic arm balances and inversions. Our guest Senior yoga teacher & Teacher’s trainer from Lime House Yoga Cornwall, JOCK ORTON, will look at the subtleties, alignment, and anatomy that are required to achieve these poses. You will learn how to create ‘lift-off’ using not just external muscular strength, but internal lift from the correct use of both the root locks. You don’t have to be the strongest or the most flexible to attend this workshop – you just need a sense of adventure and be willing to let go of your self-limiting beliefs.

This on-demand course is a first introduction to the world of yogic breathwork, energy-work called Pranayama. We designed it for both complete beginners as well as yoga teachers. It aims to help you recognise your breathing patterns and use the tools of yoga to help you balance in this stressful world, feeling more centred, healthy and aligned with your intentions. Guided by the Senior yoga teacher and Teachers trainer Irina Pashkevich.
This 8-sessions series is here to help you find and maintain balance through the breath of yoga or pranayama and yogic meditation. The series is designed for mixed levels: from yoga beginners to yoga teachers.
