We’re back to the studio, remaining online as well! To celebrate the re-opening, we offer Iriness’ well established Beginners Yoga Course for new to yoga, new to us, and yoga returners. During 6 weeks of the course you’ll be introduced to the foundations of yoga: breathing, Ashtanga vinyasa yoga postural flow, meditation, and relaxation. You will also learn to practise yoga by yourself, taking ownership not only over your practice, but over your life and over your wellbeing.
This 5-week 5-sessions course is part 3 of our Pranayama & Meditation series, which dives deeper into the higher limbs of Ashtanga yoga. We’ll explore yogic concepts of Ashrama, Svadharma, Gunas, Mudras, Prana, Vayus, and Kumbhaka. We’ll continue progressing with the techniques of part 1 & 2 of the course and we’ll learn new Pranayama such as Kumbhaka, Sitali, Sitkari, Simha mudra, Pratilom Ujjayi, Bhramari mudra and new Meditation methods, such as Krishna’s, Svadharma and Six-stage double up waves. This course is an accredited CPD course with Yoga Alliance Professionals UK.
In this workshop we’ll explore whether psychoactive substances can be useful supplements, shortcuts or accelerators of spiritual evolution. Beyond a simplistic answers, Gregor will draw on his extensive research and his personal experimentation with mind altering agents. You’ll learn about the chakras as evolutionary brain circuitry and how the natural evolution of life came about through chakra activation. Gregor will teach meditation techniques designed to activate the various chakras. He’ll also offer a map of transformative and mystical states, including their potential accessibility through psychedelics versus traditional yogic methods.
This CPD course for yoga teachers and teacher trainees will provide you with the teaching methodology for Ashtanga vinyasa yoga. We’ll guide you towards developing an authentic way of educating beginners through creating your own courses. We’ll coach you on how to integrate the Sanskrit counted guided method with Mysore style of Ashtanga. We’ll host only eight students at the studio in Horsham and four online, so the highest level of personal attention will be given to each participant. This course is accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals and will allow you to grow professionally within the Alliance and beyond.
