This ongoing online series of classes intends to establish you into the classical breathwork and meditation of yoga. We aim to help you find and maintain balance through the yogic practices. The series is designed for mixed levels: from yoga beginners to yoga teachers and will be recorded for viewing within 60 days.
This 8-week course is part one of our CPD series Pranayama & Meditation, accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals. You’ll explore the intricate connection of your breath, mind, and spirit. You’ll better understand an underpinning philosophy and experience practices such as Kapalabhati Kriya, Stage waves, Complete yogic breathing, Anuloma and Viloma Ujjayi, Vasishta’s Nadi Shuddhi, Aurobindo’s, HamSah, Sphere of light Meditations along with yogic mudras, bandhas, and mantras.
This 8-week course is part two of our CPD series Pranayama & Meditation, accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals. You’ll continue deepening your understanding and integration of the practices of kriya, pranayama and yoga meditation. You’ll learn four stages of Nauli, Jala Neti and Kapalabhati Kriya; Nadi Shuddhi, Chandra & Surya Bhedana as well as explore deeper Chakra Kundalini Meditation.
This 8-week course is part three of our CPD series Pranayama & Meditation, accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals. We’ll dive into the philosophy and practice of the higher limbs of Ashtanga yoga such as Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, and Dhyana. We’ll explore yogic concepts of Ashrama, Svadharma, Gunas, Mudras, Prana, Vayus, and Kumbhaka. We’ll continue progressing with earlier learnt techniques and integrate new ones.
Renown yoga teacher and author Gregor Maehle explores whether psychoactive substances can be useful supplements, shortcuts or accelerators of spiritual evolution. Beyond simplistic answers, Gregor draws on his extensive research and his personal experimentation with mind altering agents. You’ll learn about the chakras as evolutionary brain circuitry and how the natural evolution of life came about through chakra activation.
